Seminole County Grand Jury Returns Indictment

 

Against John Wayne Rogers
 

The Seminole County Grand Jury returned a first-degree premeditated murder with a firearm indictment against John Wayne Rogers, 28, for the March 27 shooting death of 24-year-old James Theodore Dewitt.
 

The shooting occurred at RogersGeneva home, 1098 Settlers Loop, after the men who had been drinking together all day began arguing. Rogers was arrested by Seminole County deputy sheriffs and remains held without bond. The Grand Jury heard testimony from a Seminole County Sheriff’s investigator and an acquaintance of both men before returning the indictment.
