The Brevard Grand Jury Indicts

Leon Foster in Death of Titusville Woman

The Brevard Grand Jury issued a first-degree premeditated murder indictment Tuesday (Aug. 6) against 42-year-old Leon Foster Jr. for the July 14 stabbing death of his estranged girlfriend, Mykeba Clark, 44.

The grand jury also indicted the Vero Beach man on armed burglary of a dwelling with an assault or battery and kidnapping, said Assistant State Attorney Michael Hunt. Titusville Police arrested Foster as he was stabbing Clark, and Foster has been held since then without bail.

The grand jury heard testimony from a Titusville Police Department crime scene investigator, two patrol officers and a police detective before returning the indictment, Hunt said. Foster is scheduled to make a first appearance at the Brevard County Jail on Wednesday on the additional charges.
