November 2, 2020 - Seminole Grand Jury Indicts Adam SAVAGE and Tristan SANDERS JR for Murder

Late Friday (Oct 30), a Seminole County Grand Jury indicted Adam SAVAGE (37), for First-Degree Premeditated Murder (CF), and Tristan SANDERS JR (19) for First-Degree Felony Murder (CF), Attempted Robbery with Firearm (F2), Burglary of a Vehicle (F3), and Shooting Into Vehicle (F2), in separate incidents.

On October 1, 2020, Seminole County Deputies responded to a 9-11 call at 5545 Wilson Rd and found SAVAGE covered in blood, being physically restrained by relatives. The witnesses said that SAVAGE had called them to the home for an unidentified emergency, but instead discovered the body of his mother, Vicki Savage (68) dead inside. The medical examiner ruled the death a homicide by blunt force trauma, while crime scene and physical evidence linked SAVAGE to the murder.  The Grand Jury heard testimony from a Sheriff’s Investigator and the Seminole County Medical Examiner before returning with their indictment.

On August 18, 2020, Sanford Police found an unresponsive Gaensley Noel (23), in a car parked at 212 Yale Dr. suffering from what proved to be a fatal gunshot wound. A subsequent investigation identified SANDERS as the person who shot Noel while trying to rob him. The Grand Jury heard testimony from a Sanford Police Investigator and the Seminole County Medical Examiner before returning with their indictment.

Both SANDERS and SAVAGE remain in custody at the Seminole County Jail on No Bond, and no trial date has been set in either case.

Please consult the Seminole Clerk of Court website for the updates on future court appearances by these defendants.
