March 12, 2021 - Seminole Grand Jury Indicts Aaris WOODSON for First Degree Premeditated Murder

Today (Mar 12), the Seminole County Grand Jury indicted Aaris WOODSON (20), for First Degree Premeditated Murder (CF); Robbery with a Firearm Inflicting Death (F1 PBL); and Armed Burglary of a Conveyance Inflicting Death (F1 PBL), in connection to the death of Anthony Bradford (32).

On December 20, 2020, at 11:44 pm, Altamonte Springs Police responded to a report of an unresponsive person in a car parked at the Walmart, 200 SR 434 in their city. Officers discovered a deceased male with a gun shot wound to the head, later identified as Bradford. Officers also learned that Bradford had been reported missing to Ocoee Police on December 19, 2020.

After an extensive months long investigation, and using security video from area businesses, Altamonte detectives identified WOODSON as the person who had traveled from out of state and met with Bradford at the Walmart on the 18th. During that meeting, WOODSON shot Bradford and stole a large amount of marijuana. On February 8th, 2021, a warrant for murder was obtained for WOODSON. He was taken into custody on February 23, 2021, in Indiana and held without bond.

The process of extradition has been initiated and WOODSON is expected to be transfered back to Florida on a date yet to be determined.

No trial date or initial appearance have been set in this case. Please consult the Seminole Clerk of Courts website for updates on future court appearances by this defendant.
