August 24, 2009 Brevard Grand Jury Issues Indictments Against Six Defendants in Four Recent Homicides

The Brevard County Grand Jury returned murder indictments Wednesday (August 19) in connection with the deaths of four people over a four-day time period in July. The Jury met for two days to consider the evidence in the three separate cases.

In the first case, Alvin Adderley, 35, 249 Western Ave., Cocoa, was charged with first-degree premeditated murder with a firearm, armed burglary of a dwelling while inflicting death, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon in connection with the July 21 shooting death of Kenneth Moore Jr. Moore was shot at the home he shared with his parents at 1378 Centennial Way, Rockledge.

The Grand Jury heard testimony from a Rockledge Police detective, two Brevard County Sheriffs Office crime scene investigators, and two lay witnesses.

Secondly, the Jury indicted Terence Oliver for the murders of Krystal Pinson and Andrea Richardson on July 22 in Titusville, at Richardsons home on W. C. Stafford St. Oliver faces two first-degree premeditated murder with a firearm charges, as well as charges of armed burglary of a dwelling while inflicting death and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Oliver, 33, lived at 4827 Chicago St. in Titusville.

The Grand Jury heard testimony from two Titusville Police Department crime scene investigators and a detective, and two lay witnesses.

The third case the jury addressed resulted in indictments for a group of men for shooting two brothers in West Melbourne on Idlewylde Circle on July 24. One of the brothers, Rusty Locke, subsequently died; the other, Shane Locke, was seriously injured. Five men were arrested in connection with the crime; however, one Garrett Amble entered a plea to a charge of robbery earlier this week. The remaining four who were indicted Wednesday are Patrick Feeley, Timothy Noe, Marino Teague, and Dennis McBride. All four face charges of first-degree felony murder with a firearm, attempted first-degree felony murder while inflicting great bodily harm or death, armed burglary of a dwelling while inflicting death or great bodily harm, and robbery with a firearm while inflicting great bodily harm or death. McBride faces an additional charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

The Grand Jury heard testimony from a Brevard Sheriffs Office agent and crime scene investigator and three lay witnesses.

All of the men are in custody and are scheduled for court appearances tomorrow at the Brevard County Jail, said Assistant State Attorney Michael Hunt.
