Brevard County Grand Jury Issues Murder
Indictment In Titusville Case

The Brevard County Grand Jury indicted a Titusville man in
connection with the May 29 shooting death of Cedric R. Walker, 21, also
of Titusville, and returned a “No True” bill in the case of a second
man accused of being involved in the crime.

Tracey Benjamin Roberts, 20, 1018 West St, was charged with
first-degree premeditated murder with a firearm and possession of a
firearm by a convicted felon. Roberts was arrested by Titusville Police
on June 9 and remains in the Brevard County jail where he is being held
without bond.

A “No True” bill was returned in the case against Altonio
Green who had been arrested on a charge of Principle in the First Degree
to Murder in the crime. Green, 21, 901 W. C. Stafford St., was arrested
by police the day of the shooting for his suspected role in driving the
car in which Roberts rode. Green has been held without bond but is
expected to be released tonight, said Assistant State Attorney Michael
Hunt.

The Jury heard from four witnesses in the Walker homicide, two
Titusville Police Department officers and two lay witnesses. Hunt said
Roberts is scheduled for a first-appearance on the indicted charges
tomorrow at the Brevard County Jail.
