Sending Files
The Office of the State Attorney in the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit receives electronic files through a secure service called CIP Portal. You must first contact our office to request the ability to send files. Once the request is processed, you will receive an email with a link to a website that allows you to upload files.
- Request to Send Files
Your first step will be to reach out to the office of the Assistant State Attorney assigned to the case. You will need to provide the case number, the defendant’s name, as well as your name and email address. Once provided, you will receive a link via email to begin the file upload process. - Receiving the Link
The link to upload files will be sent to the email address you provide our office and it will contain a link to the CIP Portal. You are required to register a free account (first time only) to access the upload form. - Creating an Account
Once you receive an email containing a link to the CIP Portal, you will be prompted to create an account. (First time only) - Uploading Files
After logging in, you will view the Forms tab and select the eye icon to view the form.
Simply drag and drop or browse for the files. Once the files have finished uploading, select Submit at the top of the page.
