Grand Jury indicts fourth defendant in robbery, killing at S. Melbourne market

The Brevard County Grand Jury has indicted a fourth defendant in the robbery and murder of a Melbourne man inside Tip Top Mini Mart in September 2024.

For participating in the robbery, JARELL A. FISHER-HARRIS, 18, is charged with first-degree felony murder and robbery with a firearm while inflicting death.

Earlier, the Grand Jury indicted three other defendants in the Sept. 10 killing inside the market, which was partially caught on store security video:

  • MALACHI DANTE BELL, 21, is charged with first-degree premeditated murder with a firearm for shooting Craig Dewberry Jr.  BELL also is charged with felony murder with a firearm and robbery with a firearm while inflicting death.
  • CLINTON D. ROBERSON II and KAMARIUS T. SIPP, both 16, participated in the robbery and are charged as adults with first-degree felony murder and robbery with a firearm while inflicting death.

Dewberry, 27, was a father who visited the convenience store on Monroe Street near University Boulevard once or twice a day, store staff said.

Witnesses said the suspects fled on foot and that several shots were fired outside the store. Police recovered a gold necklace belonging to Dewberry along the route the suspects took through the neighborhood.

Grieving family and friends erected memorials to Dewberry outside the shop after the shooting.

All four defendants are now in the Brevard County Jail, awaiting trial.
