Tuesday (Nov 12), the Seminole County Grand Jury indicted Nathaniel BRATCHER (26), on one (1) count of First-Degree Premeditated Murder (CF), and one (1) count of Armed Burglary with a Firearm (F1 PBL), in connection to the shooting death of Larreon Cosby (32), in unincorporated Lake Mary.
On September 18, 2024, Seminole County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a residence in the Sun Lake Apartments after witnesses reported hearing an argument and a single gunshot. Upon arrival deputies discovered Cosby in his apartment already deceased from a gunshot wound. Witness testimony and physical evidence linked BRATCHER to the murder, including text messages threatening to kill the victim over a relationship with BRATCHER’s former girlfriend. Located after a traffic stop of his vehicle, BRATCHER was arrested and held without bond on September 19, 2024.
The Seminole County Medical Examiner later ruled Cosby’s death a homicide, the result of a single gunshot wound.
The Grand Jury heard testimony from a Seminole County Investigator before returning with the indictment.
