Yesterday (Jan 14), a Brevard County Grand Jury indicted Terrell ISOM (25) for one count of First Degree Premeditated Murder with Firearm (CF) and two counts of Aggravated Battery with Great Bodily Harm reclassified with a firearm in connection with the death of Terravion Lewis (18), and the shooting of Edwin Augustyn (21), and Shawnee Comete (21).

On Saturday, December 14, 2019, the Cocoa Police received a 9-11 call of gunshots and a woman screaming in the area of Prospect Avenue. Upon arrival, police found Lewis, who was shot in the chest (later pronounced dead at the scene), and Comete, who had been shot in the leg. Cocoa Police later found Augustyn, also suffering from a gunshot wound, near Fiske and School Streets.

The subsequent investigation identified ISOM as the person who had shot all three victims. Cocoa Police obtained a warrant for his arrest on First Degree Premeditated Murder, and ISOM surrendered at the Brevard County Jail on January 03, 2020, and was held on NO BOND.

The Grand Jury heard testimony from the Brevard Medical Examiner, a Brevard County Sheriff’s Office crime scene investigator, a Cocoa Police Department detective, and a lay witness before returning with the indictment.

ISOM will remain in custody at the Brevard County Jail on NO BOND. Arraignment was waived after his attorney filed a Notice of Appearance and Not Guilty plea. The case is assigned to Circuit Judge Charles Crawford.
