- Seminole Grand Jury Indicts Christian ALEXANDER for Drug Delivery Murder
Yesterday (Mar 8), the Seminole County Grand Jury indicted Christian ALEXANDER (26) for First-Degree Murder-Distribution of a Controlled Substance (CF), in connection to the death of Edward Sweat II (18), on August 22, 2021, at his home on Orienta Drive, in the Altamonte Springs area of Seminole County.
ALEXANDER was identified by Seminole County Sheriff's Deputies as the person who provided Fentanyl that resulted in the overdose death of Sweat. After a week long investigation ALEXANDER was arrested August 30, 2021, while delivering Fentanyl and other controlled substances to undercover agents. In addition to the indictment, the State intends to file additional felony charges of Possession with Intent to sell LSD (F2), Fentanyl (F2) and Cannabis (F3).
The Grand Jury heard testimony from Investigators with the Seminole County Sheriff's Office before returning with the indictments.
ALEXANDER was served with the indictment overnight and is being held on No Bond at the Seminole County Jail. No trial date has been set in this case. Please consult the Seminole Clerk of Courts website for updates on future court appearances by this defendant.
