Today, State Attorney Phil Archer confirmed that Assistant State Attorney Clarissa Harrell, candidate for Brevard County Judge in Group 6, requested and was granted a temporary leave of absence to focus full time on her campaign.

Archer said he appreciated Harrell’s desire not to impact her assigned duties and maintain her strong commitment to serving the residents of Brevard County. He added, “Clarissa Harrell has my full support and endorsement in this election. She is highly qualified and has both the character and integrity to ensure that everyone appearing before her will receive the respect and justice they deserve.”
