Seminole County Grand Jury Issues

            The Seminole County Grand Jury issued a first-degree murder indictment against Dwayne Fitzgerald White, 41, in the death of Sarah Yvonne Rucker, 42. Ms. Rucker’s body was discovered in the parking lot of the Miami Subs restaurant at 2035 West State Road 434 in the early morning hours of Aug. 29.

            The Grand Jury heard from three witnesses before returning the indictment: the lead investigator for the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office; a Sheriff’s Office latent fingerprint examiner; and a lay witness. White, who was Rucker’s estranged husband, was arrested Sept. 8 on a Seminole County warrant and is being held without bail in the Seminole County Jail.
