The Seminole County Grand Jury today returned a first-degree murder indictment against William Francis Silvia, Jr., 41, for the September 22 death of patricia Silvia. The shooting occurred at 2536 Zelina Point, Winter Park.

The Jury also charged Silvia with attempted first-degree premeditated murder while inflicting great bodily harm or death on Patricia's mother, Betty MacIntyre Woodard.

Silvia will remain at theSeminole County Jail where he has been held without bail since his arrest Septemer 23 by Seminole County deputies. The Jury heard from six witnesses before returning the indictment, said Assistant State Attorney Pat Whitaker.
