March 12, 2007 Brevard County Grand Jury Indicts Two Men in Connection with Fatal Shooting

The Brevard County Grand Jury issued first-degree felony murder indictments against two men Tuesday, March 6, in the shooting death of William Wilson, 19. Wilson’s body was discovered in his car by the side of Columbine Drive outside of Sharpes on Feb. 11.

Indicted on charges of first-degree felony murder and attempted robbery with a firearm were Jeffrey Craig Stiles Jr., who was arrested shortly after the crime, and Andrew Wesley Thomas who was arrested today. Stiles, 21, Cocoa, remains held in the Brevard County jail without bail. Thomas, who is 19 and from Sharpes, was arrested this morning.

Assistant State Attorney Michael Hunt said that the Jury heard testimony from six witnesses, including two law enforcement officials. Contact the Brevard County jail to determine when the men will make first appearances on the charges.
