Seminole County Grand Jury Issues

Murder Indictment in Interstate-4 Shooting

            The Seminole County Grand Jury issued a First-degree Premeditated Murder indictment against Junior Enock Gedeon, a 25-year-old Sanford resident, for the July 5 murder of Rodney Porter, 23. The shooting occurred in a car traveling on I-4 near the exit ramp for State Road 436.

            The grand jury heard from one witness, a detective from the Altamonte Springs Police Department, before returning the charge. They included in the indictment an additional charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

            Gedeon was arrested by Altamonte Springs Police the day of the murder and remains in the Seminole County Jail where he is held without bond.
