October 21, 2014 State Attorney Phil Archer's Office: Making a Difference in Their Community

For Immediate Release--Oct. 21, 2014
State Attorney Phil Archer's Office:
Making a Difference in Their Community

State Attorney Phil Archer and a group of his co-workers plan to have a great Saturday (Oct. 25) as they participate in the USA Weekend Make a Difference Day 2014, an annual opportunity to give back to the community.  The crew will be working on a variety of outside maintenance projects at a local senior citizen's home.

Brevard County TRIAD is providing funding for the materials for the projects and Coastal Windows in Rockledge (www.coastalwindowsinc.com, 321-636-4420) is donating glass and labor to replace some broken windows.  The group will be weeding, cutting hedges and overhanging trees, raking, cleaning, and painting with an eye to allowing these senior ladies a greater enjoyment of their surroundings, as well as a safer home environment.

State Attorney Archer said he encourages everyone to get out and lend a hand in their community either through some of the planned group activities or by simply helping a neighbor, rolling a trash can to the side of the house, picking up litter along your street, or helping carry a load of groceries to the door.  Be an impact!
