Brevard County Grand Jury Indicts
Palm Bay Man on First-Degree Murder Charge
The Brevard County Grand Jury issued a first-degree premeditated murder indictment today (May 17, 2016) charging 25-year-old Stephen Warrington with the April 18 murder of Jillian Kusznir whose body was discovered a day after the attack in the trunk of her car parked by the side of a Palm Bay road. The grand jury returned an additional charge of robbery with a deadly weapon against Warrington.
Warrington was arrested on April 21 near his home at 246 Van Loon Ave. NE, Palm Bay, and remains in the Brevard County Jail where he is being held without bond.
Assistant State Attorney Michael Hunt presented the case to the grand jury which heard from a Palm Bay Police Department Detective and a Crime Scene Investigator, the Brevard County Medical Examiner, and a lay witness.
Warrington is scheduled for a first-appearance on the formal charges at the Brevard County Jail tomorrow (Wednesday, May 18). Please check with the jail for scheduling confirmation.
