The Seminole County Grand Jury issued a First-degree Murder Unlawful Distribution of a Controlled Substance indictment Monday (Oct.16) charging JAMIE NELSON, 34 of 302 South Grant Street, Longwood in connection with the June 15th death of Tracy Skornicka, 41 also of Longwood.

The Grand Jury heard testimony from the Volusia County Medical Examiner and a Longwood Police Department Detective prior to returning the indictment against Nelson.

Nelson was arrested on October 9th by the Longwood Police Department and remains in the Seminole County Jail on no bond.
