Seminole Grand Jury Issues Indictment In Altamonte Drug Murder Case
The Seminole County Grand Jury issued a First-degree Murder Unlawful Distribution of a Controled Substance indictment on February 14th, 2018 charging DAN'KERRIA HODGES, (27) of 2491 Anacostia Avenue, Ocoee, in connection with the November 8, 2017 death of Jordan Thomas, (30) who died from a Fentanyl derivative overdose.
The Grand Jury heard testimony from the Orange County Associate Medical Examiner and a Altamonte Springs Police detective before returning with the indictment aganst HODGES. The Grand Jury also indicted HODGES on one count of Sale of a Controlled Substance (Fentanyl) - Second-degree Felony and Trafficking in Illegal Drugs, Under 14 grams (Fentanyl) - First-degree Felony.
HODGES failed to surrender herself and a warrant was issued for her arrest. She was taken into custody yesterday (Mar 6) in Orange County where she is currently being held on NO BOND. HODGES will be transfered to the Seminole County Jail sometime after her inital appearace later today.
