March 19, 2018 - Seminole Grand Jury Issues Indictment in Altamonte Drug Murder Case

The Seminole County Grand Jury issued a First-degree Murder Unlawful Distribution of a Controlled Substance indictment on March 13, 2018 charging TOREAN GOUCH SR, 28 of 141 Oak Avenue, Altamonte Springs, in connection with the October 14, 2017 death of Donnie Defazio, (29) who died from a Fentanyl overdose.

The Grand Jury heard testimony from the Volusia County medical examiner and an Altamonte Springs Police Department detective before returning the indictment against GOUCH. The Grand Jury also indicted GOUCH on one count of Sale of a Controlled Substance (Fentanyl) – Second-degree Felony.

A capias was issued for GOUCH who was taken into custody Friday (Mar 16) in Altamonte Springs by the Seminole County Sheriff's Office without incident.

No trial date has been set and GOUCH is being held with NO BOND subsequent to his initial appearance held on Saturday, March 17th at the Seminole County jail.
