Today (July 20, 2018) our office was notified by the Florida Attorney General that the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida issued a ruling granting a writ of habeas corpus in the matter of Crosley Alexander Green. The Court issued an Order that grants the writ unless the State of Florida initiates new trial proceedings within 90 days from July 20^th, 2018.

Our office is working with the Attorney General to carefully review the specifics of the ruling and decide on the appropriate course of action going forward. Once that process is complete we’ll announce our decision publicly.
