Each day law enforcement professionals face a dangerous and demanding work environment. However, the need to respond with appropriate use of force is essential to maintaining the public trust.

A comprehensive investigation into allegations that BELL had applied an inappropriate use of force toward three (3) juvenile inmates charged as adults was conducted by the Seminole County Sheriff's Office and the findings presented to our office.

A Summons was issued after a careful review found sufficient evidence to believe BELL had used physical force not justified by the inmates’ level of resistance.

BELL is scheduled to appear for arraignment on September 12th, 2018 9:00 AM before Judge Mark Herr at the Seminole County Criminal Justice Center.
