September 6, 2018 - Federal Court Grants Stay in Crosley Green Appeal

On September 5th, 2018 Judge Roy Dalton of the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida issued an order granting a stay in the Crosley Green appeal.

This order waives the requirement for the State of Florida to undertake a new trial of Mr. Green within 90 days of the Courts July 20th, 2018 ruling. The stay will remain in place until a decision has been reached in the appeal, filed by the Florida Attorney General on August 20th, 2018.

Our office will continue to carefully monitor the developments in this case and await the decision of the 11th Circuit Federal District Court of Appeals, prior to making any decision as to the re-trial of Crosley Green.
