- Ricardo Pombo-Foster Found Guilty - Facing Possible Life for Sexual Abuse of Teens
Yesterday (Feb 19) a Seminole County Jury found Richardo POMBO-FOSTER (58) guilty in six (6) counts of Lewd or Lascivious Battery (F2); Sixteen (16) counts of Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Child (F2); and fourteen (14) counts of Possession of Material Depicting Sexual Conduct by a Child (F3).
In 2014 the Seminole County Sheriff's Office investigated complaints from two (2) girls aged 14 and 15 at the time, that POMBO-FOSTER had provided them with money and pills in exchange for sex. The incidents had taken place over several months at POMBO-FOSTER's home in the Signal Pointe Apartments on Seaport Circle in Winter Park. The girls also reported that POMBO-FOSTER had recorded their encounters and investigators did recover videos from POMBO-FOSTER's phone.
The outstanding effort of Asistant State Attorney's Gino Feliciani and Scott Wood in presenting evidence to the Jury, resulted in POMBO-FOSTER's conviction in 36 counts of abusing and exploiting these children. As a result, POMBO-FOSTER now faces a potential sentence of life in prison.
POMBO-FOSTER is being held on No Bond at the Seminole County Jail. Sentencing is set for April 3, 2019 at 9:00 AM in front of Judge Melanie Chase at the Seminole County Criminal Justice Center.
