Today (July 3), Judge Nancy Maloney sentenced Jonathan PRIVE (31) to three (3) consecutive life sentences for two (2) counts of Sexual Battery on a Child under 12 (LF); and one (1) count of Lewd and Lascivious Molestation of a Child under 12 (LF). PRIVE was also sentenced to a consecutive 15 years for one (1) count of Unlawful Travel to Meet a Minor (F2). PRIVE had been found guilty of those crimes by a Brevard County Jury on Monday (July 1) in a case prosecuted by ASAs Kathryn Speicher and Kellen Simmons.

In the fall of 2013, the Brevard County Sheriff's Office and U.S. Immigrations Homeland Security conducted an undercover investigation into allegations that Michael Glascock was sexually abusing children, producing child pornography, and distributing it to others. That investigation resulted in Glascock's arrest and identified PRIVE as a participant in an earlier sexual abuse of a child at Glascock's home. Undercover agents posing on-line as Glascock, exchanged communications with PRIVE who agreed to meet for the purpose of abusing the same child again. When PRIVE arrived on the street where he was to meet the child, agents moved in and arrested him.

Glascock was convicted in Federal Court and sentenced to Life in prison on February 6, 2015. PRIVE plead guilty in Federal court and was sentenced to 30 years and 4 months in prison on April 22, 2015.

In a statement after the sentencing Assistant State Attorney Kathryn Speicher said "I'm grateful for the hard work of the Brevard County Sheriff's Office and DHS in this case. The evidence they gathered allowed the jury to convict Mr. PRIVE, and ensure he'll never walk free again." She also added "I'm hopeful this result will finally afford a sense of closure to the victim."

PRIVE was ordered held in custody pending his transfer to the State Department of Corrections.
