- Seminole Grand Jury Indicts Antwann RICKS in 2018 Murder of Casselberry Teen
Today (Mar 10), the Seminole County Grand Jury indicted Antwann Tyedouglas RICKS (20) for First Degree Felony Murder (CF), Burglary of a Conveyance with Assault or Battery (F1 PBL), and Attempted Robbery with a Firearm Inflicting Injury or Death (F1PBL), in connection with the murder of Bryce Williams (17) on New Year's Day 2018, at Lake Hodge Park in Casselberry.
During a two year investigation, Casselberry Police gathered evidence and witness testimony that placed RICKS at Lake Hodge Park and identified him as the person who shot and killed Williams. An arrest warrant was obtained and RICKS was taken into custody March 5, 2020, in Orange County and later transferred to the Seminole County Jail.
The Grand Jury heard testimony from a Casselberry Police Department Investigator prior to returning with the indictment.
RICKS will remain in the Seminole County Jail on no bond. *Arraignment is scheduled for April 28, 2020, at 1:30 pm before Circuit Judge Marlene Alva.
