April 12, 2022 - Seminole Grand Jury Indicts Arnold NELSON JR for Drug Delivery Murder

Today (Apr 12), the Seminole County Grand Jury indicted Arnold NELSON JR. (36) for First-Degree Murder-Distribution of a Controlled Substance (CF), in connection to the death of Lisa Francis (44), discovered at East Palm Valley Drive, Oviedo on November 24, 2021.
 
NELSON JR. was identified by Seminole County Sheriff's Deputies as the person who provided Cocaine and Fentanyl, that according to the Medical Examiner resulted in the overdose death of Francis. After a months-long investigation NELSON JR. was arrested February 18, 2022, while delivering Fentanyl and Cocaine to undercover drug agents and held at the Seminole County Jail.
 
The Grand Jury also indicted NELSON JR. for two (2) counts Sale of Cocaine (F2), Sale or Delivery of a Controlled Substance [Schedule 1] (F2), Fleeing or Attempting to Elude a Police Officer (F3), Driving While License Suspended or Revoked (M2) and Unlawful Use of a Two-Way Communication Device (F3). 
 
The Grand Jury heard testimony from Investigators with the Seminole County Sheriff's Office before returning with the indictments.
 
NELSON JR will be held on No Bond at the Seminole County Jail. No trial date has been set in this case. Please consult the Seminole Clerk of Courts website for updates on future court appearances by this defendant.
