July 12, 2022 - Seminole Grand Jury Indicts Two for First-Degree Murder

Tuesday (Jul 12), the Seminole County Grand Jury indicted Xichen YANG (21), for First-Degree Premeditated Murder (CF), Tampering with Evidence (F3); and Lewis BOONE (24) for First-Degree Premeditated Murder (CF), Tampering with Evidence (F3), and Possession of Ammunition by Convicted Felon (F2), in separate incidents.
 
YANG was identified by Altamonte Springs Police as the person who intentionally killed his wife Nhu Pham (20), on June 21, 2022, after a domestic argument at the couple's apartment on Ballard Street. YANG told a witness and investigators he cut his wife with a knife after becoming angry with her. Yang was taken into custody and held without bond.
 
BOONE was identified by Seminole County Deputies as the person who shot and killed Jaylen McIntyre (21), on or about April 21, 2022. McIntyre's body was found in a burned out shed on Roseberry Lane, in unincorporated Sanford. After a weeks long investigation, an arrest warrant was obtained and BOONE was taken into custody and held without bond on May 25, 2022. 
 
The Grand Jury heard testimony from Investigators with the Altamonte Springs Police and Seminole County Sheriff's Office before returning the indictments.
 
YANG and BOONE will continue to be held on No Bond at the Seminole County Jail. No trial dates have been set in these cases. Please consult the Seminole Clerk of Courts website for updates on future court appearances by these defendants.
