September 12, 2023 - Seminole Grand Jury Indicts Guillermo NAVARRO and Kadeem FISHER for First-Degree Murder

Today (Sept 12), the Seminole County Grand Jury issued murder indictments for two defendants in two separate incidents.

Guillermo NAVARRO (35), was indicted for First-Degree Premeditated Murder (CF), in connection to the killing of his brother Lee Navarro (39), in unincorporated Longwood, on August 13, 2023.

An investigation by Seminole County Sheriff’s Deputies established Guillermo NAVARRO had been in a physical fight and heated dispute with his brother while visiting Wekiva Island marina and bar. This ultimately led to Guillermo NAVARRO using his car to intentionally run down Lee and flee the scene. Lee died from his injuries several days later and an arrest warrant was issued for NAVARRO, who was taken into custody on August 14, 2023.

Kadeem FISHER (32), was indicted for First-Degree Premeditated Murder (CF), in connection to the shooting death of Phillip McCrimmon (33), in unincorporated Sanford on November 22, 2022.

Seminole County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to reports of gunshots in the area of the Vista Haven Apartments and found a trail of blood leading to a locked unit. After gaining entry, deputies found McCrimmon deceased on the floor, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds.

After a months long investigation, combining witness testimony with security video and electronic communications data, FISHER was identified as the person who had shot McCrimmon and then fled the scene. A warrant was obtained for FISHER’s arrest, and he was taken into custody on August 2, 2023.

The Grand Jury heard testimony from Seminole County Sheriff’s Office Detectives before returning with the indictments.

NAVARRO and FISHER are being held on No Bond at the Seminole County Jail. No trial date has been set in these cases. Please consult the Seminole Clerk of Courts website for updates on future court appearances by these defendants.
