The Brevard County Grand Jury returned a first-degree murder indictment today (June 30) charging 38-year-old Jeremiah Williams with shooting Yolanda Garvin-Williams, 31, to death outside Parrish Medical Center in Titusville on June 8. The grand jury also charged Williams with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Williams remains in the Brevard County Jail where he is being held without bond. He was arrested on June 8.
Assistant State Attorney Michael Hunt said the jury heard testimony from a Titusville police department crime scene investigator and detective and three lay witnesses. Williams is scheduled for a first-appearance on the charges Wednesday at the Brevard County Jail.
