The office considers applications from students enrolled in accredited law schools for unpaid student externships in criminal justice.
Application Process for Legal Externs
Applications for law student externs are considered on a continuing basis. Students seeking Office of the State Attorney, Eighteenth Judicial Circuit extern sponsorship are asked to contact their college advisor in order to determine program content and credit requirements. Law student extern experiences are coordinated through your college advisor. Applications can be printed and mailed through your college advisor to: Office of the State Attorney, Attention Human Resources Department, 2725 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, Building D, Viera, Florida 32940. College Advisors may call our Human Resources Department at 321-617-7228 for additional information on how to submit a student for sponsorship consideration.
Sponsorship for student externships are accepted on a “first come” basis.
